Language barriers shouldn’t exist in 2026. The Large Language Models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google are fully capable of understanding context, slang, code, and intent better than any legacy translation API before them.
But there was a problem: Accessing them was too slow.
You had to open a browser tab, log in, paste your text, specify what you needed, wait for a spinner, and copy the result back.
With TransFlex, we bypass that completely.
The Mission
We built TransFlex using Tauri, making it exceptionally lightweight and native to your OS. We then engineered it around a “Bring Your Own Key” (BYOK) model. This means:
- Complete Privacy: Your keys and your prompts stay on your machine.
- Uncapped Potential: Connect to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or any custom OpenAI-compatible endpoint without subscription limits.
